TEMPTING Fortune is a brand new show that has landed on Channel 4.
The show sees a dozen strangers take on a gruelling 18-day trek far away from home in the hope of sharing a BIG cash prize.

What is Tempting Fortune?
Tempting Fortune is a brand new show on Channel 4.
The show sees 12 contestants who will trek for 19 days across the South African wilderness using basic survival gear.
There will be a series of temptations along the way, and the contestants will have to resist them in order to be able to receive the full £300,000 prize fund.
With a basic shower costing £1,000, it may not take long before the bill gets pretty high and the prize fund could dwindle even further.
Who is taking part in Tempting Fortune?
Twelve contestants are all hoping to share the big cash prize.

- Carolynn, 65, a retired trauma nurse.
- Lani, 33, a graphic designer.
- James, 50, an ex-professional basketball player.
- Charlie, 25, a fish and chip shop worker.
- Ashton, 28, an event singer.
- Trelwey-Precious, 22, an influencer.
- Tahira, 39, a field organizer.
- Dee, 44, an event caterer.
- Michelle, works in sales.
- Dan, 31, a social worker.
- Jack, 22, a content creator.
Who is the Tempting Fortune host?
The Channel 4 show is hosted by Paddy McGuinness.
Many of us are used to seeing Paddy on Top Gear and A Question of Sport, but Tempting Fortune is a completely brand-new setting for the TV personality.
Speaking about the show, he said: “It’s strange going from shiny floor entertainment-style shows to Top Gear and now to this, which is a real juxtaposition to pretty much everything I’ve done.
“For me it’s been a different way of making TV. When you’re hosting a show like this, you don’t see a lot of it until later.
“The contestants are off on their challenges. It’s all unscripted so whatever happens happens. Every day was a surprise. I really enjoyed it.”
When does Tempting Fortune air on Channel 4?
Tempting Fortune kicked off on Sunday, March 26, at 9pm on Channel 4.
The show will run for six episodes.
All episodes will become available to watch on More4 once they have aired.
