In the first season of the show, nine contestants were given “big build” tasks over six weeks to showcase their handiwork.

Tasks included making doll’s houses, animal sculptures and chairs.

In each episode, competitors, all talented craftspeople, were asked to complete a “skills test” which built up immunity.

Over the weeks, the contestants battled each other for the title of “Britain’s Best Woodworker”.

The show seeks to showcase Britain’s talented carpenters and their set of mind-blowing skills.
