TEMPTING Fortune is a new show on Channel 4 which puts a group of people in an unfamiliar scenario, where teamwork is a necessity.

What is Tempting Fortune about?
Tempting fortune is a brand new show on Channel 4.
12 contestants will trek for 19 days across the South African wilderness using basic survival gear.
There will be a series of temptations along the way, and the contestants will have to resist them in order to be able to receive the full prize fund.
The first episode will air on March 26, 2023 at 9pm.

How many episodes of Tempting Fortune is there?
The series will run for six episodes, showing weekly on Sunday and Monday nights.
The first episode will last around an hour, but it is not known how long the following five episodes will last.
How much is the Tempting Fortune prize money?
If they reach the end, the contestants will share a prize pot of £300,000.
There is however a twist, as money from the total prize fund can be spent on luxuries throughout the show and subtracted from the final total.
An example of these luxuries are a shower, which costs £1,000, and a burger and chips valued at £1,500.
These expenses are sure to put loyalties and teamwork to the test, as they all strive to take home as much as possible.
If anyone leaves the challenge, £25,000 is deducted from the prize fund.
Who presents Tempting Fortune?
The show is hosted by Top Gear and A Question of Sport host Paddy McGuiness.
McGuinness appears in his first TV project since the announcement that Top Gear would suspend filming of their current series, following a serious accident suffered by his co-host Freddie Flintoff.
The filming for the show took place in the summer of 2022.
