MODEL and reality TV star Tyra Banks is hosting season 30 of Dancing with the Stars.
The 47-year-old mother and model has made most of her fortune from television and some from being a professional model. Now hosting season 30 of DWTS, Banks will be generating more income.

Banks net worth is reportedly $90 million. Her fortune comes from multiple sources of income, as the model dabbles in more than one trade.
Having had success from her career as a model, Banks has also piled up millions from flipping properties in Los Angeles and hosting her reality TV show America’s Next Top Model.
Her net worth has also accumulated from having various roles in films such as Disney’s Life Size (2000) and Coyote Ugly (2000).
Banks became the host of America’s Next Top Model in 2003 and went on to host her own talk show, The Tyra Banks Show, from 2005 through 2010.
In her early days of modeling, Banks was reportedly rejected by four modeling agencies before being signed to L.A. Models.
Eventually Banks made it to Milan once she signed with Paris-based agency, Elite Model Management.

Flipping property is one of the many ways Banks generates income, as she purchased five properties in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles just within two years.
She also owns a 7,000-square-foot duplex in Manhattan, built with its own salon and gym. The property was listed for sale in 2017 for $17.5 million but has yet to be sold.
It is not concrete how much Banks will be making as this season’s host of DWTS, but it could be comparable to previous hosts’ salaries.
Previous host Tom Bergeron’s salary could be what Banks is making this season as International Business Times reports, “Bergeron’s salary was $150,000 an episode. An 11-episode season would then earn him $1.65M at a time, and when the show was airing two seasons a year, that number would rise to a whopping $3.3M.”
At one time Banks was the highest paid woman in all of primetime TV. In fact, it is rumored that production couldn’t afford to produce ANTM because her salary request was so high.
