Stranger Things  



Stranger Things return

The American science fiction horror drama television series Stranger Things returns for season four Summer 2022.

The fourth season will have nine episodes in total and has continued to be produced by the show’s creators the Duffer Brothers, along with Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Iain Paterson.

The new series sees Eleven settle into her new home in California as a new threat rises.

Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger in Nightmare on Elm Street) joins the cast as the mysterious Victor Creel.

Bridgerton



Bridgerton is returning for its second season

Bridgerton is returning for season 2, March 25, 2022.

Season two will follow the second book of Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton novels, titled The Viscount Who Loved Me.

It will focus on the relationship between Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma, played by Simone Ashley.

The Crown 



The Crown returns November 2022

The Crown season 5 will be released by Netflix in November 2022.

Imelda Staunton will take over from Olivia Colman playing Queen Elizabeth.

Dominic West will star as Prince Charles and Princess Diana will be played by Elizabeth Debicki.

Seeing as season four of the show focussed on the 1970s and 1980 including Thatcher’s premiership, the wedding between Diana and Charles and the birth of Prince William and Prince Harry, we can only assume that season five will pick up towards the latter end of the decade or the start of the early 1990s.

After Life



Ricky Gervais returns for the final season of After Life

Ricky Gervais, Brandy the dog , and After Life all return for one final season.

The bittersweet comedy about life after (a loved one’s) death will be released on January 14, 2022.

And yes of course, viewers favourite, Brandy the dog is returning too.

Umbrella Academy 



Umbrella Academy is returning for season 3

Umbrella Academy is returning with season three.

The third season will include The Sparrow Academy, an alternative reality version of our heroes.

The series has also teased a hotel-shaped prison in space.

Showrunner Steve Blackman told Digital Spy that it’s “Wilder, Bigger and Zanier” than ever before.

“There’s some very big surprises with the family this year. There are some amazing changes that people will love to sort of dig into, and there’s a lot of growth for this family this year in a way that people are just not going to expect.” he teased.

Ozark



Ozark returns JAnuary 2022

Ozark returns for its final season on January 21, 20221.

 The series follows the Byrde family’s criminal enterprise in the Ozarks.

As patriarch Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) said in the series premiere back in 2017, “Money is, at its essence, that measure of a man’s choices.”

Locke and Key 



Locke and Key are back for season three

Locke and Key are back for season three.

Co-creator Meredith Averill says that it focuses more heavily on the family.

She also said expect to see the greatest threat they’ve had to face yet.

“That really bonds them in a way that we’ve never seen before. I can’t say more than that,” Averill explained to Collider.

Army Of The Dead: Lost Vegas



Army of the Dead’s Dave Bautista

The next prequel tells the story of Army of the Dead’s Scott, played by Dave Bautista.

New actors joining the cast include Joe Manganiello, Christian Slater and Vanessa Hudgens.

Netflix shared a synopsis of the series saying: “The animated origin story of Scott (Dave Bautista) and his rescue crew during the initial fall of Vegas as they confront the mysterious source of the zombie outbreak. Jay Olivia will be showrunning with he and Zack Snyder each directing two episodes.”

Alice in Borderland 



Alice in Borderland season 2 returns

Alice in Borderland Season 2 will return to Netflix December 2022.

The live-epic adaptation of Haro Aso’s hit Manga continues with even more deadly games

All Of Us are Dead

A new Korean Survival drama will be released on Netflix January 28.

It’s a live action adaptation of the Webtoon Now At Our School, created by Joo Deng-geun.

Yoon Chan-young and Park Ji-hoo stars as the two students trying to survive the undead.

Inventing Anna



Inventing Anna actress Julia Garner

Inventing Anna inspired by the true story of Total Fake is released on Netflix Febauary 11.

The show tells the true story of how Anna Delvey tricked her way into New York’s  high society. 

Starring Ozak’s Julia Garner as Anna Delvey and is produced by Shonda Rhimes and Shondaland – the creative team behind Bridgerton.

Raising Dion



Raising Dion returns for season 2

Raising Dion returns with Season 2, February 1.

The story picks up two years after the first series with Dion still mastering his powers.

Rome Flynn joins the cast as Tevin, training Dion to face the danger threatening the entire city. 

The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window

A new dark comedic satirical swipe at psychological thrillers is released January 28, on Netflix.

Kristen Bell stars as Anna, the wine loving woman in the window who believes she witnessed a gruesome murder.

The IMDb synopsis reads: “When a handsome neighbor moves in across the street, Anna a heartbroken, for whom, every day is the same, starts to see a light at the end of the tunnel. That is until she witnesses a gruesome murder – Or did she?”

The Sandman

A new Netflix series which is an adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s comic which follows the King of Dreams as he tries to rebuild his kingdom

Tom Sturridge will play the dreamer, with Game Of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer.

The plot follows a wizard who is attempting to capture Death to bargain for eternal life and traps her younger brother Dream instead.

After being kept in a glass bottle for decades, Dream, known as Morphesus, goes on a quest for his lost objects of power.

Munich:The Edge of War



A new series coming to Netflix 2022

Munich – The Edge of War was originally meant to be released in 2021 by Netflix but instead will release on January 21, 2022.

It follows two diplomats trying to divert World War 2 in this thriller based on Robert Hariss bestseller. 

Starring George Mackay, Jannis Niewohner as the rival spies, and jeremy irons as neville chameland
