When does Dancing on Ice 2021 start? add date, time and channel
Dancing on Ice will be returning this Sunday, despite speculation that the show might have to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
It will show at 6pm on ITV.
The show might look a little different than we are used to, as the set has been changed to make it Covid secure, and there will be no live audience.

Who is hosting Dancing on Ice?
The show announced on Twitter today that presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will be back to front the skating competition next week.
The pair has presented the show since the series was revived back in 2018, but they were also the hosts of the original version from 2006 to 2011.
Christine Bleakley presented the show in the intervening years.
Who are the Dancing on Ice judges?
Like last year, the expert Ice Panel will include Torvill and Dean, John Barrowman and Ashley Banjo.
Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean are Britain’s best-known ice-skating duo.
The pair won gold at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Games, becoming the first ever non-Russian skaters to win the Ice Dance – so our celebs are in good hands!
Unfortunately, Torvill and Dean won’t be able to hit the ice together, due to the strict measures in place.
Dancing on Ice pro-skater Mark Hanretty told the Daily Record: “Not being able to go near each other because of Covid will be a real hardship.
“They are best friends and have been skating together for 45 years and now they can’t even touch each other nevermind dance as a pair.
“Show producers have jumped through hoops of fire to make sure everyone and everything is Covid secure so they can’t go anywhere near each other.”
How is the show being Covid friendly?
ITV have reassured viewers they are doing everything in their power to keep the celebs and the crew safe.
An ITV spokesperson said: “We have stringent protocols in place to ensure the health and safety of all our contributors and staff which are routinely monitored and updated to reflect the current guidelines.”
The studio has been given a makeover to keep it Covid-safe. The judges’ panel is now socially distanced, with perspex panes between each seat.
But a source has said the line-up and their professional partners are feeling apprehensive about how things will come together for the live shows.
“Everyone is worried to be honest,” the source exclusively told The Celeb Report.
“They can’t practise and the celebs are nowhere near the standard they usually are.
“There’s people scrambling around backstage with no real idea how it’s going to come together. It’s a bit of a mess!”
