ITV announced a suspenseful new thriller based on Louise Candlish’s best-selling novel Our House.

When does Our House start on ITV?
Our House will be shown in the UK on ITV, but a release date is still to be confirmed.
However, production for the series started in summer this year (2021) and so it’s likely the release date will be early next year (2022).
There is no word yet on a US release either, but be sure to keep an eye out for any updates on this page as you will find the latest here first.
What will happen in Our House on ITV?
Potagnosist Fiona Lawson is shocked when she returns home to discover that a stranger has moved into her house.
She believes that it is all one big musudnestanding.
However, when she begins to look around the house, none of her possessions are there.
She is then left further devastated when she can’t find her estranged husband.
The series then flashback’s in time to see scenes of Fi and her husband Bram together, she starts to unpick her life and discover Bram’s hidden past…
The synopsis says “As FI reflects upon the safe space in which she and her family had made a life together, she begins to peel back the layers of her relationship and discovers her husband has also disappeared,” the synopsis continues, “with her life shattered, she realises the secrets and lies have only just begun, but her husband isn’t the only one with things to hide…”
Who will star in Our House on ITV?
Downton Abbey actress Tuppence Middleton and Line of Duty’s Martin Compston star as estranged wife Fi and husband Bram.
Whitechapel actor Rupert Penry-Jones plays Toby – Fi’s new partner.
Talking about his role, Rupert says: “I’m delighted to be stepping into the shoes of the elusive character of Toby in this nail-biting thriller; highlighting how a few innocent wrong turns can spiral into an eventuality no one anticipated. It’s all the more rewarding to be working alongside the brilliantly talented Tuppence Middleton and Martin Compston. This is a TV thriller that will subvert all expectations.”
Tuppence also adds: “What struck me about Our House is its immense relatability; it’s a story where you catch a glimpse of yourself in the characters, and you get the chilling realisation that what happens to Fi could happen to anyone. What a fantastic opportunity to work alongside ITV and the team at Red Planet Pictures to adapt this artfully plotted novel.”
Other cast include: Weruche Opia (I May Destroy You) and Buket Komur (Honour).
