READY to Mingle is ITV2’s new dating show which follows a single woman in her quest to find the perfect man – but there’s a twist.
12 men are hoping to win her affections even though some of them are already in committed relationships!
When does Ready to Mingle start on ITV2?
The first episode of Ready to Mingle will air on ITV2 on Monday, 6 September at 9pm.
The debut episode will last for an hour and a half – but if you miss any of the action, you’ll be able to catch up on the ITV Hub.
The channel hasn’t confirmed how many episodes there will be or how often the show will air, but it’s likely that it will be on at the same time every week.
How does the show work?
The new show follows a single woman who is hoping to find a romantic connection with one of twelve potential male suitors.
But not everyone on the show has pure intentions.
Although some of the male contestants are genuinely hoping to find a connection, some of them are secretly already in committed relationships.
These shady contestants – along with their girlfriends, who are in on the scam – are hoping to dupe our single girl into falling for them in order to secure a hefty cash prize.
The girlfriends will be able to help their partners keep up with their lies, but will be in for some pretty uncomfortable viewing as their boyfriends cheat on them to maintain the ruse.
Who is presenting the series?
Ready to Mingle is fronted by Canadian Comedian Katherine Ryan.
Katherine, who was pregnant with second child Frederick Ryan Koostra during filming, says she believes the twist will make the show even more “entertaining and compelling” as it’s so tough to figure out who’s telling the truth.
Katherine is a staple of British panel shows, including 8 Out Of 10 Cats, and has even had her own Netflix show, The Duchess.
Where was Ready to Mingle filmed?
The show was filmed in the British seaside town of Torquay in Devon.
The contestants were isolated in a luxury clifftop apartment near the town. for the duration the competition.
