What’s Succession about?

The satirical comedy-drama follows the Roy family – dysfunctional owners of a global media and hospitality empire – as they fight for control of the company amid family patriarch Logan’s uncertain health.

The series tracks their lives as they contemplate what the future will hold for them once their ageing father begins to step back from the company.

Explaining what fans can expect from season three, Brian Cox told The Daily Beast: “There are a lot of things to be explored in season three.

“The succession itself is still to be explored; how to keep Waystar together and stop it from going under; how to stop the proxy battle and company takeover.

“Roman has suddenly risen, and will emerge quite strongly I think.”

The show was created by British author Jesse Armstrong who is also the co-creator of the Channel 4 comedy series Peep Show and Fresh Meat.

It is also executive produced by Hollywood star Will Ferrell and Adam McKay – who has worked on Saturday Night Live, Anchorman, The Big Short, The Other Guys and Vice.
