NIKKI Grahame fans have been paying tribute in the wake of her death to her imitable Big Brother catchphrase: “Who is she?”
The tragic star uttered the iconic words in the diary room about her fellow housemate Suzie Verrico.
The rant turned Nikki into a national treasure and TV icon, but to copy Nikki, who was Suzie and where is she now?
Suzie was a late contestant in the seventh series of the reality show.
She arrived, then aged 43, a few weeks after everybody else on a ‘golden ticket’ due to a promotion with Nestle.
As a latecomer she was given special privileges from Big Brother and had to nominate somebody for eviction and chose Nikki.
Nikki went berserk at Suzie’s choosing of her and stormed into the Big Brother diary room where she unleashed her wrath.
“I am feeling very venomous and angry,” she told Big Brother and in turn, us the viewers.
“How dare she vote for me. She doesn’t even know me. She doesn’t even know who I am.
“What I am like. She has never even spoken to me. She wouldn’t even give me a chance. She wouldn’t even look at me.
“What have I done?”
And she didn’t stop there with her furious tirade.
“She has just come in here…marched in here in her golden gown and ousted me out and it is not fair.”
Nikki still wound up, dramatically delivered her golden line: “Who is she? Who is she? Where did you find her? I hate her…I don’t even want to look at it.”
Former model Suzie from West Malling, Kent, who had starred in ads, spent 56 days in the house and was nominated a total of four times – once by Nikki in revenge for being nominated – emerging eighth place in the reality competition.
The striking brunette – who had a 21-year-old daughter at the time of the show – found herself with the winning golden ticket after her millionaire Italian husband of then six-years Cosmo Verrico, now 71, bought 60 boxes of Kit Kats in the competition and ended up buying a ticket for £4,000.
In fact, Nikki did know who Suzie was. she had auditioned three times for the show and was a stand-in for Big Brother 5 and had met Nikki previously. They had sat next to each other and discussed plastic surgery – Suzie had a surgically enhanced 32E bust.
When Suzie was evicted she told the show’s host Davina McCall the housemates were irrelevant and she was in the show simply because she was interested in becoming a TV presenter and gaining exposure.
Where is she now?
Fame dried up pretty fast for Suzie and she went on to run an online shopping company.
Her husband was a guitarist in a rockband called Heavy Metal Kids.
The couple were living in an exclusive townhouse in London’s plush Chelsea and are believed to also own a mansion in West Malling.
Suzie now seems to spend her days walking her dogs Ted and Max around her Chelsea neighbourhood and lunching with friends in glitzy London restaurants.
She also no longer has her false bust. Sharing a throwback shot of herself from BB in a bikini top, she captioned the Instagram image: “One of the few somber moments with the hilarious Jayne who kept me laughing and raised my spirits each day.
“Good grief look at those boobs I don’t own those anymore…something about “growing old gracefully and all that jazz.”
Pre lockdown Suzie and her husband appeared to do a lot of travelling staying in fabulous hotels like the Ritz Carlton, sailing on yachts and driving in limousines.
She stays in touch with housemate Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace sometimes sharing throwback photos from the show and Aisleyne wrote on one picture: “I absolutely adore you” followed by heart emoticons.
