NAGA Munchetty usually presents BBC Breakfast alongside Charlie Stayt from Thursday to Saturday.
However, the 46-year-old was absent from the sofa on July 1 2021 and is missing from the show TODAY (July 2).
Where is Naga Munchetty and why isn’t she on BBC Breakfast today?
No reason was given as to why Naga has not featured on two consecutive BBC Breakfast shows.
When presenters are replaced, it’s common that those who have replaced them simply carry on as usual.
The likes of journalists Rachel Burden, 46, and Sally Nugent, 49, as well as broadcaster Nina Warhurst, have featured on the programme.
The trio are part of a rotation process which sees them take turns to stand in for the main hosts of the show.

It is in fact Rachel Burden who has stepped in for Naga over the past couple of days.
The BBC Radio 5 Live presenter took to Instagram and gave fans an update ahead of her appearance on BBC Breakfast.
Using crutches after slightly breaking her ankle, Rachel penned: “Morning. We’ve ditched the grown up shoes today. Bad idea with a slightly broken ankle. And I got caught kicking them off on the sofa.
“So I scrubbed up the daughter’s airforce. Happy Friday to you all. 
@bbcbreakfast.”
When will Naga be back on BBC Breakfast?
It is unknown when Naga will return to BBC Breakfast, but we can assume she will back on the show next week (July 7).
The broadcaster has not made any reference to her absence on social media.
She last tweeted about Andy Murray’s gruelling five-set second round victory over Germany’s Oscar Otte at Wimbledon and Roger Federer’s straight-set win over Richard Gasquet.
She tweeted yesterday: “Am enjoying watching this SO much… #Wimbledon #federer #gasquet.”
