Richard was notably absent from the show this morning, replaced by Ed Balls (July 11, 2022).
Where is Richard Madeley?
Richard became a regular presenter on Good Morning Britain but is missing from the show today.
It is not known why the 66-year-old is away today but politician and presenter Ed Balls has stepped in.
Although fans were confused at his absence, Richard is likely just spending a few days off.
When he took over the job, a source said at the time: “Richard has always maintained he would never do GMB full-time, as he loves his life as it is.

He is contracted now after polling well with fans, going from stand-in to main presenter.
ITV’s morning show has been fronted by Richard and show favourite Susanna Reid, 51, on Mondays to Wednesdays since before Christmas 2021.

When is Richard Madeley back on Good Morning Britain?
At the moment, it hasn’t been revealed when Richard will be back on air.
He is likely to just be taking a week off so should be back soon.
