Stephen Mangan is a much-sought after actor
Actor Stephen Mangan’s breakthrough TV role was in Adrian Mole: The Cappuccino Years in 2001.
But after playing playing Guy Secretan in Green Wing from 2004 until 2006, he is now best known for the character Sean Lincoln in Episodes, and also his role of Dan Moody in I’m Alan Partridge.
Other big shows included appearing in Channel 4 series Hang Ups, and BBC One’s The Split.
On the big screen Stephen starred in Billy Elliot, Postman Pat: The Movie, and Houdini and Doyle.
And he’s had success on stage too – he was nominated for a Tony award for his portrayal of Norman in The Norman Conquests on Broadway.

Mark Heap has become a very big name on telly since playing the pompous Dr. Alan Statham in Green Wing.
He has appeared in various TV comedy roles, often playing obsessive and self-deluded characters.
This included struggling artist Brian Topp in Spaced, and various roles in the sketch show Big Train.
These days Mark is best known for playing creepy neighbour Jim in Channel 4 comedy, Friday Night Dinner.

Before Green Wing, Tamsin Greig found fame through Dylan Moran’s sitcom Black Books, in which she played shopkeeper Fran Katzenjammer for three series, starting in 2000.
But she began her acting career through a role in BBC Radio 4 drama The Archers from 1991, playing Debbie Aldridge.
After Green Wing ended, she has continued to work with her co-stars from the show.
This includes, working alongside Mark in Friday Night Dinner, and playing Stephen’s wife in Episodes.

Following her success in Channel 4 Comedy Smack The Pony, actress Sarah Alexander landed the gig of Angela Hunter in Green Wing.
After the show ended, she found success in sitcom Coupling, and comedy show Armstrong and Miller.
Other big shows Sarah has appeared on include The Worst Week of My Life, Marley’s Ghosts, and Jonathan Creek.
The actress’ last known TV role was in 2019 playing Undine Thwaite in Pennyworth.
