The original show was also shot in the Dales, so producers were keen to follow suit.
Arncliffe
Some of the show was also filmed in Arncliffe, the village used for some aspects of Skeldale House, and Yockenthwaite Farm, the Aldersons’ home
This is also where all the cars are kept.
Grassington
The village of Grassington was used as fictional village Darrowby.
Local pub The Devonshire was used as the exterior for fictional inn The Drovers Arms.
A 1930s market scene was mocked up in Grassington Square.
Actress Rachel Shenton, who plays Helen Alderson in the show, was pictured on location.
Ducks, hay bales and small market stalls were put up at the location to create a 1930s feel.
