Who are Born to Perform?

The joyful dance group is from Northampton with members aged 14 to 24.

Born to Perform is a disability-inclusive dance group that features people with different disabilities.

The dance school told the Sun the experience was “the best day of ours and our students’ lives”.

They said: “An absolute dream come true, pure magic.

“We feel overwhelmed with the positivity and support for people with disabilities.

“Times are changing”.

The group has previously been interviewed by BBC News for World Downs Syndrome Day and performed uplifting street parades during lockdown.

When were they chosen as a golden buzzer act?

Born to Perform won the golden buzzer after their audition to You Can’t Stop the Beat from the musical Hairspray.

The song is an anthem of overcoming hardship and negativity and their performance tugged on the heartstrings of the judges.

David Walliams awarded the group the third golden buzzer on Saturday’s show (April 23, 2022).

Hosts Ant and Dec called the performance “brilliant” and “joyous.”

Amanda Holden, who has already given her golden buzzer to Loren Allred, said: “I did not stop smiling for the whole of that performance. You were amazing.”

There are only two golden buzzers left to award this season, one from Alesha and one from hosts Ant and Dec.

When is Britain’s Got Talent on ITV?

If you can’t get enough of Britain’s Got Talent, the show returns next week on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

It will air at 8pm on ITV and be available on catch-up after the show goes live.
