Who is Aneeshwar Kunchala? Britain’s Got Talent finalist

ANEESHWAR KUNCHALA is one of Britain’s Got Talent’s finalists after raising awareness on the show about how we need to start taking more care of our planet.

Aneeshwar Kunchala is raising awareness about taking care of our planet

Who is Aneeshwar Kunchala?

Aneeshwar Kunchala is a seven-year-old boy from Warrington, who auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent following a visit from David Walliams.

The BGT judge visited his school, St Philip Westbrook CE Primary School while dressed as a panda to ask him to audition for the show.

At a very young age, Aneeshwar developed a love for nature like no other and started spreading the word on his own YouTube channel.

He spoke to his local paper, Warrington Guardian, about how he developed his passion for nature and the environment.

He said: “I started to like nature when I was about four or five.

“My teacher in reception showed me a picture of a dead whale who died from plastic and then I told it to my parents even though she said keep it a secret.

“And then we though of making some short videos too.

“I started to do all of these documentaries and the first one was about snails and then I went on to the magnificent tigers at Chester Zoo and I even fed one! It was so good.”

For his semi-final act, Aneeshwar performed a poem about conservation and what humans can do to save the planet and animals.

Simon Cowell described it as “pure, utter magic” while David commented: “You put it over so beautifully, so simply that everyone has to take notice.

“Now you know Sir David Attenborough may one day pass the baton on to you.”

On top of great admiration from the judges, Anesshwar also received recognition from Prime Minister Boris Johnson, when he was named Young Conservation Climate Leader.

He also received the Global Child Prodigy Award and was named the SES Young Scientific Explorer 2021.

What poems did Aneeshwar Kunchala perform on Britain’s Got Talent?

During his audition, Aneeshwar performed a poem which he wrote himself.

It was about climate change and a drawing of Earth was shown on the stage behind him.

The poem went into how pollution is harming the environment and killing animals.

He had some children animate animals while another child dressed up as a tree.

Amanda Holden showed her admiration, commenting: “The message is so important, and when I think of somebody like David Attenborough, somebody obviously we all look up to and admire, you’re the perfect person to follow in his footsteps.”

He wrote another poem for the semi-final about plastic pollution in the oceans.

It also went into deforestation and how many animals lost their homes, how tigers had to compete with humanity and the pitfalls of the Ivory Trade.

Simon wants to get Aneeshwar in contact with Mr Attenborough, as he said: “Here’s a conversation I think is going to happen with Mr Attenborough,” while stating that he believes he could try asking Sir David himself to feature on BBC’s Blue Planet.

Who else is in the Britain’s Got Talent 2022 final?

Aneeshwar will have to face 10 other contestants who are all on a mission to be crowned the winner.

The winner will take home a cashed prize of £250,000 and gets a spot at the Royal Variety Performance 2022.
