Who is Mo Gilligan?
Mo Gilligan is a British comedian from London born on February 19, 1988.
He rose to fame in 2017 when a sketch he uploaded to Twitter about different types of DJ raked in a million hits in just 24 hours.
One of his comedy characters, the geezer, has the catchphrase “Bring me a coupla cans” which has been shared and liked by Drake and Stormzy.
Previously he worked in retail – in the Apple Store, Primark and a Levi’s shop.

Mo co-hosted The Big Narstie Show on Channel 4, alongside Grime star Big Narstie.
The comedian was also given his own shows on Netflix called Momentum, and The Lateish Show With Mo Gilligan on Channel 4.
He paired up with Claudia Winkleman to win the 2018 edition of The Big Fat Quiz of the Year hosted by Jimmy Carr.
Mo also appeared on Celebrity Call Centre as an agony uncle, a one-off show which was part of its Stand Up To Cancer charity programming in 2018.
The talented star appeared on The Great Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C, alongside Carol Vorderman, Kelly Brook and Rob Rinder.
He also featured in Soccer Aid 2020 and was part of The Rest of the World team who went on to win the match.
Since 2020 Mo has been on the judging panel of The Masked Singer – he is also been a judge on The Masked Dancer since 2021.
In 2022 the comedian was the host at the Brit Awards 2022, and is returning for the 2023 ceremony.
Mo is also known for presenting Channel 4’s Big Breakfast reboot.
