Husband Dan made headlines when he quit the BBC and moved to Channel 5 in April 2022.

The pair met in 1999, while attending the University of Sheffield, where Dan gained a Masters in broadcast journalism.

Sarah and Dan have been together for over 20 years, after tying the knot in 2001.
They reportedly dated for two years before their wedding.

Nothing is known about their precise wedding date, venue or guests and both of them seem adamant on not disclosing any details about their special day.
The pair currently live in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, as the city holds sentimental value for them both.
Dan told Mail Online in 2018: “My wife Sarah and I moved to Sheffield last year because it’s played a big part in our lives.
“We both studied here and it’s where I began broadcasting.”

Dan lovingly posted a picture on Twitter of a sandwich Sarah had made him, in January 2022.
He said: “You can tell you’re married to a Yorkshire lass when she makes a his & hers stew sandwich with a bit of Henderson’s Relish for an evening snack”.
During his time on Strictly, Dan dedicated his romantic Viennese Waltz to Sarah and revealed he was performing to her favourite song, She’s Always A Woman by Billy Joel.
“I’m just going to gush over her for a moment,” he said to Claudia Winkleman after his performance. “Because she’s one of those people, the more you know her the more you love her.
“And I’ve known her and loved her for over half my life.”
As the camera focused on Sarah, Dan continued: “There she is, she’s absolutely amazing, she’s such a special person and I love her to bits. I hope she enjoyed that because we really loved it.”
