AMERICA’s Got Talent has a new winner.
Dustin Tavella wowed the judges with his incredible magic act and also won over the viewers.
Who is Dustin Tavella?
Dustin Tavella is a magician who aims to inspire audiences by using magic to connect with people from all different walks of life.
Tavella resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with his wife, Kari, and their adopted sons
The couple have been involved in homeless ministry and a crisis pregnancy ministry.
In the first round of AGT 2021 he received a standing ovation from the judges and the audience following a special card trick that involved his family.
What has Dustin Tavella said about his win?
Dustin said after his big win that he’d been so caught up in the moment he’d forgotten what the judges told him or what he share with them after his victory.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he said: “[So I’d like to] say thank you to all of the judges for every word of encouragement they’ve spoken.
“I have held all of these words like so close to my heart.”
When asked what advice he’d share to other people considering trying out for the show next season, the magician said, “Be you.”

“Find out what you love, what you’re good at,” he continued. “You’re gonna enjoy doing what you love more than you enjoy trying to be like someone else.”
Tavella also encouraged everyone to stick with their passions.
“Keep going and don’t give up,” he shared. “This was not my first season auditioning for America’s Got Talent.”
What does the winner of America’s Got Talent get?
Lucky Dustin gets a massive cash prize of $1M – which is paid out over 40 years.
Not only does he get this, he also get the opportunity to headline a residency at Luxor in Las Vegas.
The publicity will also help launch Dustin’s career as magician further.
