Who is Hugh Bonneville?
Hugh Bonneville was born in Blackheath, London on November 10, 1963.
He is of course best known for playing Lord Grantham in the ITV series Downton Abbey, and its spin off movies.
Hugh kicked off his acting career when he graduated from Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
The actor joined the National Theatre in 1987 and appeared in several plays before joining the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1991.
However his first ever TV role was in 1990 when he appeared in the iconic series Chancer – after this, the rest is history.
Thanks to his incredible career as an actor, as of 2023 Hugh has an estimated net worth of £6.6M.
Is Hugh Bonneville married and does he have any children?
Hugh is happily married to his wife Lucinda “Lulu” Evans, after they wed back in 1998.
Previously speaking to the Radio Times about what his wife thinks of him being famous, he said: “My wife thinks acting’s a funny old thing and it pays the bills, frankly!”
They live with their son, Felix, in West Sussex, although they keep their only child out of the spotlight.
