STRICTLY Come Dancing has been brightening our winter weekends with its eighteenth series.

The celebrities and the professional dancers have been strutting their stuff weekly on the dance floor and now the remaining couples will battle it out for the Glitterball trophy.

Bill Bailey has been gifted with 2019 Strictly winner Oti Mabuse as his partner.

Prior to the show the comedian said he needed a partner “who doesn’t pull any punches”, and Oti is obviously putting him through his paces.

Bill has been labelled the “dark horse of the competition” with the couple favourites to win as they headed into the semi-final.

Oti lifted the trophy with Kelvin Fletcher in 2019.

HRVY and Janette Manrara



Pop star HRVY has been paired with Janette this year

Pop star HRVY is paired with Janette.

She has been paired with the likes of Jake Wood, Peter Andre and Aston Merrygold over the years, but her 2019 partner Will Bayley didn’t last long as he was injured in week six.

Her partnership with HRVY has seen the couple become the first in the series to get a perfect 30 score.

Made In Chelsea star Jamie confirmed his return to the show after he was forced to pull out of the 2019 series before the first episode due to injury.

In 2019, Gorka wasn’t partnered up with a celeb – but he’s made it to the semis with partner Maisie.

Ranvir is paired up with Giovanni

Ranvir, who revealed she’s lost half a stone in weight as she’s “too scared to eat” before her Strictly debut, is paired up with Giovanni Pernice.

Despite only joining the show five years ago, Giovanni has managed to get to the final three times, so Ranvir‘s chances are looking good, and the pair made it to the semi-final.

However, the Good Morning Britain presenter ended up in the bottom two for the first time and was eliminated after Shirley Ballas opted to save Jamie and Karen.

JJ Chalmers and Amy Dowden – OUT

Invictus Games gold medallist JJ Chalmers was paired with Amy Dowden for this series.

In 2019, Amy set a personal record, making it to the final with celeb partner Karim Zeroual, but she bowed out in the quarter finals with JJ.

Clara Amfo and Aljaž Škorjanec – OUT

Caroline revealed she had been having secret coaching by Hollywood star Elizabeth Hurley, but the pair didn’t make it past week five.

Max George is an English singer, songwriter, and performer, who is known for being a former band member of the boyband The Wanted.

Max was partnered with Dianne Buswell, who danced with Joe Sugg in 2018 – and the pair are now a real-life couple.

Max and Dianne were the third to be eliminated after the dance off.

Former Home Secretary Jacqui was in the capable hands of Strictly veteran Anton Du Beke.

Anton has never won the competition and he and Jacqui were booted out in the first elimination.

When is Strictly Come Dancing 2020 final on?

The Strictly Come Dancing 2020 final airs Saturday December 19 at 6.00pm on BBC One.

The series began on October 24 — a month later than planned.
