Who is Liam Boyle?
Actor Liam Boyle was born in Bolton on September 19, 1985.
Before setting his sights on acting he was all set to become a teacher, but changed his mind just weeks before he was due to start uni.
Liam attended the Oldham Theatre Workshop, which counts Sarah Lancashire as a past student.
He has since appeared in various TV and film roles, including the awarding series Land Girls.

Actor Liam joined Emmerdale in December 2021 playing bad boy Alex Moore.
His character is the ex-boyfriend of Dawn Taylor and the father of her son Lucas.
Whilst Dawn was pregnant, he had an affair with her friend Beth and subsequently fathered her daughter, Clemmie, too.
Over the years Alex has been involved in some big storylines including drug addiction, kidnapping his own son, and been left for dead on the side of the road by the local vicar.
