Born in Liverpool in 1969, Natasha celebrated her 52nd birthday on October 2. Her mother has worked as a teacher while her father is an NHS manager.

During the first decade of her life, she lived in the Middle East, where her mother taught at an English-speaking school and her father set up immunisation clinics for the World Health Organisation.

The family then moved back to England, settling in Loughton, Essex.

Natasha attended Loughton County High School for Girls and was part of a Saturday drama group called the Epping Youth Theatre.
