Who is Noi from Married at First Sight?

Noi is a popular reality television star who first rose to fame on Lifetime’s Married at First Sight.

Outside of her reality fame, she is known for her career as a Talent Acquisition Co-ordinator at Simpson Gumpertz and Herger Inc.

Prior to that, she worked as a server at Sawatdee Thai Restaurant and as an outreach intern at the Ethnic Communities Council of NSW.

Noi ultimately decided to join the Married at First Sight cast because she was “tired of being let down” and trusted the experts to “have her best interest at heart,” according to her Lifetime biography.

She was born in a refugee camp in Laos but later relocated to Boston, Massachusetts.

Did Noi get married?

While on the show, Noi ultimately found love with Steve Moy.

Steve is a former sales engineer at Experian and an author.

He studied at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Throughout his life, Steve had several healthy influences when it came to love, including his grandparents who have been married for more than 60 years.

After he found out that his grandparents had an arranged marriage he set out on his Married at First Sight journey to try and find someone who would make him as happy as his grandparents, according to Lifetime.

Are Noi and Steve still together?

Noi and Steve’s season of Married at First Sight premiered in February 2022.

Fans saw their relationship unfold on live TV but six months later, it was announced that they had decided to part ways.

“I was not expecting this announcement to happen today, but I am prepared to handle it,” Steve wrote in a lengthy Instagram post.

“When I said yes on decision day, I knew that our relationship was far from perfect, but I held the belief that with enough time, effort, and understanding, we could overcome the challenges we faced and build a healthy, functioning relationship.

“Over time I’ve lost hope that this could happen, and believe we are incompatible in ways that attempts at compromise can’t seem to fix or overcome,” he added.

“I am under the belief that our relationship is unsustainable in its current form, and after many attempts, I don’t believe we can get it to the point where it is functioning at a level that is healthy enough, while both of our needs are being met.”

“Noi, I’ll always love you,” he continued, “I so wish we were a better fit.

“I wish we could meet each other’s needs without feeling like we have to compromise ourselves to a point beyond that we consider acceptable.”

In a separate post, published in January 2023, Steve gave fans an insight into their relationship post-breakup, revealing that they are not on good terms.

“You’ve made it clear you prefer not to be cordial, but if ever you change your mind, and want to try to be on better terms, I’m open to that conversation,” he said.

“A lot damage has been done, but I will continue to believe that with willingness and growth, there’s always the potential for forgiveness and repair. It would take a lot of effort, and it’s probably less than likely, but it’s still possible.”
