CAMERON Lombard secured the gig of a life time when he was named one of the new Strictly professionals back in 2021.
But the ballroom dancer has now been given an even BIGGER boost, as he has been named Aljaz Skorjanec’s replacement on the BBC One show.

Who is Cameron Lombard?
Cameron is a reigning South African Latin Champion.
He has won an impressive 18 national titles across Ballroom and Latin during his career.
Cameron started dancing when he was just six-years-old and within a year was already winning local and regional competitions.
He was a finalist on South Africa’s Got Talent in 2012, and he represented his country at the World Championships in 2019.

It is not known if Cameron is single or in a relationship as he maintains a quiet private life, although an anecdote from his school days has been made public.
His love life may be subject to speculation as he continues to follow the other Strictly pros onto the dancefloor as one of the show’s main dancers.
When is Cameron taking over from Aljaz?
Cameron has taken over from Aljaz for the 2022 series of Strictly, after impressing bosses behind the scenes of the hit series and live tour.
A Strictly source told us: “Cameron is a big character, as well as a hugely talented dancer.
“He was disappointed not to get a partner for the last series but 2022 is set to be his year.
“He’s already a favourite with hardcore Strictly fans who have seen him on tour, and bosses are confident mainstream audiences will follow suit.”
What has Cameron said about joining Strictly?
Speaking about joining the Strictly line-up, Cameron told the BBC back in 2021: “Thank you Strictly Come Dancing for this life-changing opportunity.
“Not only is this a dream come true but a challenge I am accepting with both hands.
“I am excited beyond imagination and looking forward to leaving my mark on the dance floor!”
