EVERY year a brand new batch of hopefuls all hope to win over the tough Lord Alan Sugar on The Apprentice.
One of those contestants is city boy Akshay Thakrar.
Who is Akshay Thakra on The Apprentice 2022?
Akshay Thakrar is a businessman and entrepreneur who lives in the capital.
Despite only being 28, he owns his own digital marketing agency.
Londoner Akshay believes sleep is a “waste of time” and can speak seven languages.

As mentioned above, Akshay owns his own digital marketing agency Sai Network.

What has Akshay said?
Referring to himself as a man who believes sleeping is a “waste of time” and whose first word as a newborn was “profit”, Akshay believes he’s been put on earth to do one thing – and that’s to make money.
Being multilingual, he claims he is able to connect with everyone and anybody, and therefore can “sell anything, to anyone.”
Akshay told the BBC: “My friends call me AK47 because I’m a killer salesperson.”
When is The Apprentice on?
The Apprentice kicks off on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 9pm on BBC One.
The new series will broadcast weekly and will see former winner Tim Campbell join as one of Lord Sugar’s aides.
He will stand in for Claude Littner who won’t be taking part due to medical reasons.
