Knickerbocker Glory is set to join the 12 celebrity contestants on the show

Who is the Knickerbocker Glory on The Masked Dancer?

One mystery celebrity is hoping to sweeten the deal with their dancing.

Knickerbocker Glory dons a costume replicating a giant ice cream sundae, with a wafer and dramatic make-up added for effect.

What are the fan theories?

Craig Revel-Horwood

Many are now convinced the Strictly judge is inside the towering costume

Knickerbocker Glory offered the clue: “As a young scoop I won a ____ contest with my jelly ____.”

The quirky character explained: “I’m so excited I could… scream.

“Just like a Knickerbocker Glory I’m full of layers, from my tippy-toes to the cherry on top.

“I’m here to entertain the nation. I want to squeeze a little zest into the competition.”

Fans quickly filled in the blanks, pointing out that Craig was once a budding young chef who won a cooking contest with a jellied prawn cocktail.

Many fans have speculated that the mystery celeb behind the ice cream costume is a woman due to the large false lashes and bold red lipstick on Knickerbocker Glory’s face.

One fan wrote “I think it’s Cherish Finden, what do you think?”.

Finden is a pastry chef with a fondness for whipping up sweet treats, best known for her work as a judge on Great British Bake Off: The professionals.

Other guesses included stage and screen actress Isabelle Lucy Allen and even Geri Halliwell of Spice girls fame.
