Meet the Owner of The Bachelor Mansion

Contractor Marshall Haraden is the proud owner of The Bachelor Mansion, also known as Villa de la Vina. The President of the Marshall Group and his family reside in the mansion when the popular reality show is not being filmed on the premises.

Behind the Scenes of The Bachelor Mansion

Haraden revealed to Us Weekly that the production team of The Bachelor first approached him about using the property back in 2001. The mansion undergoes a complete transformation during filming, with everything from curtains to pots and pans being removed to create the perfect setting for the show.

A Change of Venue

For the first time in the history of The Bachelor Nation, the iconic mansion will not be the backdrop for the 21st season of The Bachelorette. Instead, filming will take place at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California.

The stunning Villa de la Vina is nestled on a 10-acre property in Agoura Hills, California, within the Santa Monica Mountains of Malibu. Originally built in 2004, the mansion was sold in 2010 for an estimated $1.7 million and is now valued at over $7.4 million.
