Who is Tom Ball?
Tom Ball is a 24-year-old from West Sussex.
He grew up listening to singers like Michael Ball and Elton John, which made him fall in love with singing.
Ball began singing for charity shows, but never took any serious steps forward to pursue a career out of it.
After graduating from university he became a secondary school teacher.

Ball previously took part in season 15 of Britain’s Got Talent.
During his audition, Tom sang On The Wall – an oscar-winning song by Sam Smith.
After a minute-long standing ovation from everybody in the auditorium, Amanda Holden said, “Wow, who knew what a powerhouse you were. That was an amazing audition; I mean, one of the best singers we’ve had in the last 16 years.”
Alesha Dixon shared her praises and said: “I really felt moved by that vocal and that performance. It was really, really special.”
David Williams said: “You never forget a good teacher. How lucky your kids are to have you teaching them because you seem like such a lovely person. You’ve got this exceptional talent. Tom, let me give you your first yes.”
Simon Cowell, who was equally as impressed by Tom as the others, expressed his thoughts on the singer and said: “There’s lots and lots of good singers out there. I always believe your personality plays a huge part in these auditions. There’s something very likeable about you.”
After receiving four supporting votes from the judges, Ball moved on to the next stage of the competition.
Ball – who finished in third place – ended up performing a rendition of Conchita Wurst’s Rise Like A Phoenix at the semi-final.

America’s Got Talent: All-Stars premiered on January 2, 2023.
For the season finale on February 27, 2023, Ball was joined on stage by past contestant, Voice of Hope Children’s Choir, to perform a duet of the song, Who Wants To Live Forever by Queen.
The final episode can be watched on Monday on NBC at 8/7c or streamed via Peacock the next day.
