Who is Tommy Mallet?
Tommy Mallet, 30, grew up in Islington, north London.
His parents actually tied the knot on telly – they were a featured couple on BBC’s 1999 series Love Town.
On the show, his parents eloped to Gretna Green but his mother turned up with a busload of people from her hometown in Ireland.
Tommy moved to Essex with his parents when he was 15 and was apparently dubbed the “Patrick Swayze of Essex”.
He says that he dodges the booze because he is a “nightmare” when he drinks and that he doesn’t want to get in trouble but is just “focused on life”.
Tommy has spoken out about his struggle with dyslexia, encouraging school children that it doesn’t matter if they are not academic as they can still achieve a lot – as he has – if they are determined and work hard.
He also revealed how his piriformis syndrome had left him “stuck in a back brace” for months.
When did Tommy Mallet join Towie?
Tommy joined the cast of Towie in 2014 in series 13 and was the only new character to join that season.
His relationship with stunning blonde Georgia Kousoulou launched him well and truly into the public’s consciousness with most of his storylines revolving around their ever-blossoming romance.
He was already good friends with James “Arg” Argent before going on the show and these days you’ll see him kicking about with the likes of Pete Wicks and Dan Edgar.
How long have Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou’s been dating?
Tommy and Georgia have been dating now for eight years and despite a rocky start, the couple insist that they are still smitten.
Their relationship is the longest to come out of the reality show with other on-screen couples unable to go the distance.
Despite the shaky beginnings, the pair have grown stronger together with characteristics like his fierce loyalty and clear affection for Georgia earning him a place in viewer’s hearts.
Tommy proposed to Georgia in February 2022 whilst on holiday in Mexico.
The proposal was filmed during season two of their show Georgia & Tommy: Baby Steps.
Speaking to the crew, Tommy said, “Since having the baby with Georgia I’ve realised she’s like superwoman, she’s the best mum ever.”
How many children do Georgia and Tommy?
In December 2020, Georgia and Tommy announced they were expecting their first child.
The pair confirmed The Celeb Report’s exclusive on Instagram and shared a sweet family selfie with Georgia cuddling their pet dog and Tommy holding up the baby scan.
He wrote: “Here’s some good news to end 2020, I feel so blessed and my life now feels complete

Georgia gave birth to a baby boy named Brody Fordham on May 5, 2021, with Tommy revealing the happy news on Instagram.
What does Tommy Mallet do for a living?
Tommy doesn’t just spend his days walking the streets of Essex “unexpectedly” bumping into other cast members, oh no.
He has launched a business empire – not only has he collaborated with the brand Belvoir&Co to create a line of glasses and sunglasses, he also has his own shoe company.
The footwear business has gone from strength to strength since it was launched in 2015 and is available online as well as in stores around the country such as Selfridges.
As if that’s not enough, he is also co-owner of the popular Essex nightclub Circuit.
