THE 2022 Big Brother contestants are now past the halfway point of the season – and they lost their sixth housemate on August 18, 2022.
The latest exit saw another contestant leave the house – and the name is bound to upset some viewers.

Who left Big Brother?
The popular reality show began its 24th season on July 6, 2022.
Sixteen houseguests entered, but each week at least one is eliminated.
On Thursday, August 18, 2022, Big Brother fans were left open-mouthed as Indy Santos, 31, was sent packing.
The Brazilian was on the block with Terrance Higgins but was sent packing in a 7-1 vote.
Michael was the only housemate who didn’t vote to evict Indy.
Indy told host Julie Chen Moonves during her exit interview: “I was not comfortable, but I was fine about my game.
“I had really good people around me that I thought I could trust. Things happen. Expect the unexpected. This is true. This is a live show, but at the end of the day it’s about your life.
“Playing as individuals, not as a group. This voting shows me that I may have chose the wrong people to have around me.”
Indy said the hardest part of the game was “being in a house where people are manipulating each other”.
She added: “Lying to each other to gain the big prize. That doesn’t happen a lot in the Brazil version. It’s the audience who decides who gets the money.”

The next elimination will take place on Thursday, August 25.

What does the winner of Big Brother get?
The winner of the Big Brother season 24 competition will get $750k, which is the same amount as season 23’s winner.
However, in all previous seasons they only received $250k.
The runner-up this season will take home $75k, and the HouseGuest voted “America’s favorite” will get $25k.
Additionally, all guests (including those who have been sent to the jury house) will receive a $1k per week stipend for being on the show.
