FANS of The Bachelor know very well the show’s iconic Malibu mansion.
But have you ever wondered who is actually the owner of the stunning property? Here’s what we know.
Where is The Bachelor Mansion?
The beautiful home sits on a stunning 10-acre lot in Aguora Hills, California, situated within the Santa Monica Mountains of Malibu.
The mansion which is actually named Villa de la Vina was built in 2004 and was sold in 2010 for $1.7million.
It is now believed to be worth around $4.4million, according to online property websites.
Who owns The Bachelor Mansion?
The Bachelor property is owned by contractor Marshall Haraden.
The President of the Marshall Group and his family reportedly live in the mansion whenever production isn’t filming.
Marshall told Us Weekly in 2017 of production crews taking over the home: “They’re here 42 days, twice a year.”
He continued: “Everything leaves—everything that’s not tied down, that’s not part of the home.
“Curtains, TVs, pots and pans, clothes – everything in one day goes out.
“And then they take two weeks to put it together the way they want it, and they shoot for X amount of days, and then they spend two weeks to put it back.”
Can I stay at The Bachelor Mansion?
Big fans of the show who want a romantic getaway can rent the mansion via Airbnb for $6,000 a night.
According to the mansion’s Instagram page, it became available for rent at the end of 2020.
The property features seven bedrooms and eight baths, and sleeps 13 guests.
The Mediterranean-style home boasts a luxurious pool and two Jacuzzis, a pool table, handcrafted furniture and enormous outdoor space.
