Who raped Little Mo in EastEnders?

SEVENTEEN years have passed since Little Mo Slater left the Square with her son Freddie.

The EastEnders favourite packed up for a fresh start after being raped after working late in The Vic. Who was responsible?

Who was Little Mo in EastEnders?

The daughter of Charlie, Maureen “Little Mo” Slater is a member of the Slater family fans may have forgotten all about.

She was portrayed by actress Kacey Ainsworth and was first introduced in the BBC One soap alongside her family in September, 2000, the day of Ethel Skinner’s funeral.

Unlike her grandmother, Big Mo, Little Mo was known for her timid disposition.

Life in Walford has not been easy for Little Mo and she is perhaps best known for being part of a powerful domestic abuse storyline, years before Chantelle and Gray Atkins.

While she settled into the Square without him, her husband Trevor Morgan eventually joined her and it was soon revealed he was abusing her.

Little Mo was worn down so much, she had become unable to leave Trevor – until New Year’s Eve in 2001.

In iconic scenes, Little Mo struck back by repeatedly hitting Trevor with an iron, leaving him for dead.

When it was revealed she hadn’t killed him, she was charged with attempted murder but she made a deal with Trevor not to press charges.

Trevor was eventually killed off during a fire in the Slater home.

Little Mo was then able to move on from Trevor by embarking on a romance with Billy Mitchell (played by Perry Fenwick) and everything seemed to fall into place.

Unfortunately, things took another nasty turn for Little Mo as she was working behind the Queen Vic bar.

Who raped Little Mo in EastEnders and what happened to them?

As mentioned above, Little Mo moved on from her abusive relationship with Billy Mitchell and the pair tied the knot on Christmas Day 2002.

Sadly, shortly before, Little Mo’s happiness was cut short when Graham Foster committed a heinous crime against her.

Graham (Alex McSweeney) was Little Mo’s friend as well as her father Charlie’s darts-playing buddy.

One night, Little Mo found herself alone with Graham in the Vic and raped her while Billy Mitchell was at home, preparing a romantic surprise for his other half.

Little Mo, who had already gone through a similar ordeal with Trevor, decided she wouldn’t stay silent and told her family everything, prompting Charlie to attack Graham.

Mo was tested for STIs after reporting Graham to the police and all the tests came back negative, except one – she found out she was pregnant.

In a shocking twist, Mo decided to keep the baby to her family and Billy’s dismay and insisted the unborn baby shouldn’t have to pay for Graham’s crimes.

Billy was unable to cope or accept her decision and the pair separated with Mo leaving the Square only to return for Graham’s trial.

Mo gave birth to her son, Frederick William aka Freddie and Graham was eventually sentenced to eight years in prison.

After a failed reconciliation with Billy, Little Mo tried to move on with her life but she decided to leave Albert Square altogether in May 2006, with a young Freddie in tow.

Graham, on the other hand, was last seen in 2005, when Billy visited him in prison after receiving an order.

The vile rapist goaded Billy about not being Freddie’s biological father and pointed out that the young boy had two sisters.

Graham twisted the knife by telling Billy that Freddie will probably look like him and he’s looking forward to seeing him after his release.

Meanwhile, Freddie grew up away from Walford and returned in late 2022, ahead of Kat Slater and Phil Mitchell’s wedding.

Convinced he could find his father in the Square, he approached Billy with his questions only to be rebuffed and told he had the wrong man.

However, soap bosses have confirmed that Alex McSweeney will be reprising his role as Graham, hinting that Freddie will finally know the truth about his parentage.
