ITV series Starstruck gives the opportunity for super fans to live out their dreams by performing as their favourite musical artist.
The final aired on April 8, 2023, concluding an eight-episode series aimed at finding the best impersonation. Here’s what we know.

Schoolteacher Abbie Edwards won the competition on April 8, 2023, for her impersonation of Adele.
The aim of the show is to impress four judges with their best impersonation of a famous singer.
Edwards sang a rendition of Adele’s 2011 hit single Someone like You, which received the most votes from the studio audience.
The finalists were the winning acts from the show’s previous seven weeks and included Edwards, who won episode six of series two, which first aired on March 25, 2023.
In each episode, three people will perform a song by a selected artist. For example, on Abbie’s first appearance, she performed with two other Adele impersonators.
They competed against contestants impersonating James Brown, Elvis Presley, and Bette Midler.
After it was decided that the Adele impersonators have the best performance, all three of them sang off against each other for a place in the final, with Edwards selected as the winner.

The final of Starstruck aired on April 8, 2023, on ITV.
However, the series was pre-recorded, with filming for the series taking place in September 2022 at ITV Studios Bovington, which is home to other hit shows such as The Masked Singer.

The first series of the ITV show was won by Rachel Hawnt, for her impression of singing superstar Cher.
