THE first ever winner of the Masked Dancer’s was revealed during the grand final on Saturday June 6.
It concludes a thrilling debut series of the competition which saw 12 celebrities compete for votes.

Who won The Masked Dancer?
The Masked Dancer final saw former British Olympic gymnast Louis Smith crowned the winner as Carwash.
The 32-year-old pipped Bonnie Langford’s Squirrel to the title.
As his identity was revealed an exhsuted looking Smith described his time on the show as “bonkers” adding that the experience has been “incredible.”
Joel asked why he decided to do it and Louis replied: “It goes back to being a very tough year for everyone, everyone loved The [Masked] Singer so if I could get involved and put smiles on other people’s faces [then great]”.
Smith had previously been out at 16/1 with the bookies prior to Saturday nights final.
Who were The Masked Dancer finalists?
The final saw four masked celebrities remaining:
- Zip
- Squirrel
- Carwash
- Scarecrow
The first to be unmasked was Scarecrow who turned out to be former EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite.
Guest judge Holly Willoughby got a particular shock as she revealed she was practically related to Tamzin, 50, via her husband Dan Baldwin.
Asked how she had found being on the show, Tamzin admitted it was: “Ludicrous, ridiculous and hilarious all at once.”
She added: “I used to dance and I haven’t for a really long time.”
Not long after, the virtual audience voted again and placed Zip in third place, with Take That star Howard Donald revealing himself to a shocked panel.
Howard, 53, revealed it had been hard to keep his role on the show a secret from his two daughters.
It was then down to Squirrel and Carwash and host Joel Dommett announced that Carwash had won.
Runner up Bonnie, 56, had wowed the judges with her performances, leading to calls that she must have been a younger star.
Holly told Bonnie: “The way you move your body and went around that stage it’s like you’re 18 it’s ridiculous.”
Delighted with the comments, Bonnie said: “It’s been such a joy, I mean it is nuts, It’s been so fantastic.”
Over the week Zoe Ball’s Llama and Beagle aka Christopher Dean were both eliminated on Thursday, June 3.
Kelly Brook’s Frog and Craig Revel Horwood’s Knickerbocker Glory were booted out on Friday night.
They followed Viper, Flamingo, Beetroot, and Rubber Chicken, off the dance floor.
During the final the group all reconvened for a special performance to ‘Dancing in the Street’ by Mavin Gaye.
What did the winner of the Masked Dancer get?
Along with the bragging rights that comes with the victory, the winner of the Masked Dancer receives a glossy trophy.
However, due to the fact that The Masked Dancer is a celebrity competition, the winner does not receive any cash prize.
