HOLLY Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have long been brightening up our week days on This Morning.
The ITV hosts usually presents the daytime show every Monday to Thursday, but are currently not on air.
Why aren’t Holly and Phil on This Morning today?
This Morning’s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are on their annual Easter break, which started today (April 4, 2022).
Every year the pair take around two weeks off, to tie in with the school holidays.
Holly has young children who are school age, but Phil’s kids are all grown, but he still takes the time off.
They also take off half term holidays, Christmas, and an extended summer break.

In March 2022 Holly took a week off from presenting the show after catching Covid-19, seeing her isolating at home.
Two replacements were drafted to cover her time off – with both Josie Gibson and Alison Hammond shared the load of the days she was missing.
When are they coming back to This Mornig?
Phillip and Holly won’t return from their extended break from the show until Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
This means they have more than two weeks off.
The reason they will be returning on the Tuesday, and not the Monday that week, is because of Easter Bank Holiday Monday.
Who is standing in for Holly and Phil?
Holly and Phil have been replaced by Friday hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, who are hosting the whole week from today (April 4, 2022).
They will be followed by stand-in presenters Josie Gibson and Vernon Kay, who will cover the following week from April 11, 2022.
Dermot and Alison will then be back covering the bank holiday specials on Good Friday April 15, 2022 and Easter Monday April 18, 2022.
Dermot apologised for the shake-up on Friday (April 1, 2022) saying: “Right, we are back on Monday, apologies in advance.”
