Likely to have taken a long break following the Fourth of July, The View was on hiatus from July 4 through July 8.

According to ABC, only reruns were aired:

• Wednesday 6 July: Stephanie Grisham guest co-hosts; guest: Selma Blair and Jojo Siwa (originally aired May 19)
• Thursday, July 7: Alyssa Farah Griffin guest co-hosts; guest: Vanessa Williams, Julianne Hough and Rachel Dratch (originally aired May 26)
• Friday, July 8: Guest: Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, LeVar Burton (originally aired June 9)

However, the show returned to its regular live programming on Monday, July 11, 2022.
