Why isn’t Ant And Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway on tonight, March 19?

Ant And Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway will not air tonight due to schedule changes made by ITV.

Fans were fuming when it was revealed that the entertainment show had been cancelled in order to make space for the Six Nations Championship.

One fan said: “Why don’t they put rugby on another f**king channel.”

ITV shared earlier in March that both Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and the Starstruck final would be postponed to make way for the rugby matches.

England will face France in a much anticipated game from 8pm.

The Six Nations Championship coverage will air from 7.15pm until 10.30pm tonight.

Rugby fans can also catch up on the previous games by visiting the ITV Hub.

Prior to the France and England match, Ireland will take on Scotland from 4.45pm on ITV.

When is Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway back on?

The action-packed gameshow will return to ITV as usual on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 7pm.

Anna Maxwell Martin will join them as the Star Guest announcer and Michael Bublé will perform a big band number for the End of the Show Show, 

How can I watch previous Ant And Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway episodes?

There have been five episodes so far in 2020 and all can be enjoyed on the ITV Hub.

The first episode of the 18th series featured star guests such as Fleur East, Jeremy Clarkson and Stephen Mulhern.

The second entertained fans with an appearance from Adam Lambert as well as the cast of Mary Poppins: The Musical.

Paloma Faith and Craig Revel Horwood joined Ant and Dec for the third and the fourth had guest appearances from both Richard E Grant and Sam Fender.

Ant and Dec first hosted their iconic show back in 2002.
