WITH season 11 of Death in Paradise coming to a close, fans are itching to know when the Saint Marie’s police force will return.
Here’s what we know about the future of the lively Caribbean police drama.
Will there be another series of Death in Paradise?
Fans were delighted to see Death in Paradise return for its 10th anniversary season in 2021.
DS Camille Bordey (Sara Martins) and Sergeant Dwayne Myers (Danny John-Jules) were some of the familiar faces who returned to the screen in the Christmas special.
In January 2021, the BBC revealed there would be a double renewal of Death in Paradise.
The 12th season of the show will therefore return in the early months of 2023.
Another Christmas special has also been announced and will be aired this festive season.
What happened in series 11?
In season 11, Neville and the team looked into a number of bizarre murders and mysteries across the island.
A skydiver was believed to have been stabbed mid-air, a rehab patient is murdered at a rehab clinic and a woman is found strangled after reporting a murder.
The series will end tonight following last week’s antics which involved a reggae artist being shot dead.
