X FACTOR star Luke Friend has been seen looking totally different after cutting off his long hair and starting a new career.
The singer-songwriter has swapped his signature dreadlocks for a more chic brunette style after becoming an actor.

Luke, 26, rose to fame on the 2013 series of the X Factor finishing third and duetting with Ellie Goulding in the final.
Back then, he was known for his hipster look, including a nose ring, moustache, tattoos on show and a head of dreadlocks.
But now Luke looks wildly different, having side stepped from his singing to start up an acting career on the side.
The star – who recently appeared in a stage show – now has shorter locks, which are often swept back with hair gel.
Luke, who has an impressive 158,000 followers on Instagram, recently revealed he is also part of the Mamma Mia Party experience.
In between performing on stage with Footloose the Musical, as well as his own music, Luke is often seen posing for snaps in the gym.
The X Factor runner-up- who also recently sported a bright blonde buzz cut – frequently flexes in tight-fitting shirts.
Since finding stardom on the show in 2013, he has worked as a musician ever since, signing record deals with RCA and BMG.
He also toured the country in 2019 as St Jimmy in the musical version of Green Day’s American Idiot album.
It comes after another X Factor star was seen looking completely different in a glamorous selfie 12 years after the show final.
Cher Lloyd, who shot to fame aged 16 on the seventh series of the ITV singing competition in 2010, pouted for the camera.
