ZAC Efron has divided his fans with mullet transformation ahead of the reboot of 80s comedy Three Men and a Baby.
The High School Musical alumni looked prepped and ready to step back in time after a visit to the barbers.
Earlier this year Zac, 33, was announced as on board to star in a remake of the classic film, originally featuring Ted Danson, Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg.
Now, he’s gone one step closer in gearing up for the role with a classic mullet – an 80s favourite.
The actor, who has been in Adelaide, Australia shooting the film Gold, surprised fans with the new look.
Adelaide-based barbers Attaboy Hair, shared pictures of the star on their Instagram account and explained: “@zacefron dropped into @attaboy_hair Kent Town for a tidy up today, so we gave him a mullet
”
“He also gave the boss man, Robby, a trim – and made him feel 17 again,” they added, referring Efron’s 2009 film.
One fan responded: “I honestly can’t believe he got hotter HOW IS HE DOING THIS.”
While another simply said: “oh my”.
Attaboy told Buzzfeed: “”He couldn’t [have] been more of a humble, down to earth guy.
“It was organised with his personal trainer for him and Zac to pop in on his way to the airport.”
They added: “We’re known for this hairstyle in South Australia and we were surprised when Zac mentioned that he wanted to keep the back long.
“Luke explained the mullet concept and he was all about it!

“He [gave] him the option of cutting it off if he didn’t rate it – but was happy to rock the iconic style.”
It’s not the first time Zac has surprised fans with a completely new look.
He’s experimented with everything from curls, dreadlocks and his most recent ice blond hair style.
