JOAN Collins has refused to tell Piers Morgan what she really thinks of Meghan and Harry and exclaimed “look what happened to you”.
The actress, 88, revealed all tonight on ITV’s Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, but swerved one particular question relating to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The iconic star preferred not to comment on what she thought of the couple when quizzed by Piers.
The former Good Morning Britain host asked: “What do you make of what’s going on with the British Royal family now with Meghan and Harry – the feud with William and Charles.”
The movie star steered clear of the question and replied: “My lips are sealed on that subject.”
The audience erupted in applause when she finished and a highly amused Piers replied: “Exactly.”
“Just don’t want to go national TV and say what I think about Meghan and Harry because look what happened to you.”
Earlier this year, Piers stormed off the set after he was slated by co-star Alex Beresford for his comments towards Meghan Markle, leading him to quit the show.
ITV received the most Ofcom complaints in a decade following his rant about the Duchess of Sussex.
The TV host disregarded Meghan’s claims to have had issues with her mental health.
Piers claimed he was “sickened” by Meghan for “trashing” the Royal Family as “white supremacists” during her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Meanwhile, Joan candidly opened up about her incredible life, viewers watched Joan speak about having a termination in her 20s.
She told the the ITV host: “I had an abortion. It would have been the death of my career, and I was by then 26.
“I was a feminist before the word was heard and I shall do what I felt was right for me.
“It would have been wrong to have done that. It would have ruined my life… it would have ruined my life.”
Asked by Mr Morgan if she had a ‘tinge of regret’, the former Dynasty star said: “No, not one.”
In a more light-hearted moment, viewers will see her admit she doesn’t know how to use a vacuum cleaner — and last ironed in 1957.
The actress even compared today’s complex appliances with the dizzying array of controls in a jet cockpit.
But Dame Joan insists she does wash up at the home in Belgravia, central London, she shares with fifth husband Percy Gibson, 56.
