WHEN Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcome their baby girl later this year, their daughter will be the first of The Queen’s great-granchildren to be born Stateside.

Speaking to Ok!, the source said the royal couple are considering the name Lily because of its similarity to The Queen’s sweet nickname.
They explained: “It would be a lovely nod to The Queen who was known as ‘Lillibet’ during her childhood but it’s also always been one of Harry’s favourite names
“Back in 2019 when the Duchess was pregnant with Archie, she and Harry took part in a walkabout in Merseyside and someone in the crowd later revealed he’d asked her how she spells her daughter’s name – Lily. He took great interest in it.”
What’s more, the Duchess also had Lilies of the Valley in her bridesmaids’ flower crowns when she married Prince Harry in 2018.
In their bombshell interview with Oprah earlier this year, the couple revealed that their daughter is due this summer.

However, that’s not the only royal moniker in the running – with Diana currently at 5/1 while Elizabeth is at 12/1.
Earlier this year, both Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall paid tribute to their late grandfather by giving their baby boys Philip as a middle name.
