Prince Andrew becomes the ‘Millwall’ of Royal Family, source close to Duke says

PRINCE Andrew has become the “Millwall” of the Royal Family — a reference to the footie club fans’ boast about being disliked.

Meanwhile, the Duke of York hopes that fresh unsealed evidence will “demolish” his accuser’s story.

His popularity slump came after he was accused of sexually assaulting Virginia Giuffre three times when she was aged just 17 in 2001.

He strongly denied the claims but settled a multi-million pound lawsuit with her last year.

As a result the disgraced prince has had his working royal status removed and lost a series of military titles.

A source close to Andrew told The Celeb Reportday Times the King’s brother was “the longest man in lockdown” and has become the “Millwall” of the Royal Family — in reference to the South London club’s “no one likes us, we don’t care” chant.

Andrew, 62, is hoping evidence set to be released from a lawsuit by Miss Giuffre, 39, against lawyer Alan Dershowitz will disprove her claims.

She admitted last year that she had mistakenly accused Dershowitz, 84, of sexual abuse.

Andrew believes the released information can clear him of wrongdoing and rehabilitate his tarnished image.
