PRINCE Andrew’s bid to throw out his sex accuser’s court case has sparked fury — after his legal team branded her a “money-hungry sex kitten”.
His “attack dog” firm also claimed Virginia Giuffre had even formed part of billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s sex abuse ring by becoming “head b*tch” to trafficked girls.
The attorneys said not only did she help Epstein’s alleged accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell in procuring victims, but she was only suing Andrew for “another payday”.
Ms Giuffre’s lawyer Sigrid McCawley hit back yesterday: “If she had stood silent in the face of outrageous statements like Prince Andrew churns out routinely, the decades-long sex trafficking ring his friend Jeffrey Epstein operated would never have been exposed.
“On the subject of money, let’s be clear — the only party to this litigation using money to his benefit is Prince Andrew.”
It also emerged yesterday that 61-year-old Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and daughters Beatrice and Eugenie could be quizzed by Ms Giuffre’s lawyers over his comments in his car-crash BBC Newsnight interview.
Ms McCawley added: “Frankly, it was very helpful for us.” Mum-of-three Ms Giuffre’s lawsuit, filed in August, claims she was he sexually assaulted by Andrew in London, New York and the Caribbean.
His lawyers filed a “motion to dismiss” the civil case in New York on Friday evening.
His LA-based attorney Andrew Brettler asked for a hearing with US District Judge Lewis Kaplan to argue for dismissal.
As an alternative, he demanded that Ms Giuffre, 38, provide “a more definitive statement of her allegations”.
In a 36-page memorandum Mr Brettler, from the firm Lavely and Singer, said: “For over a decade Giuffre has profited from her allegations against Epstein and others by selling stories and photographs to the Press and entering into secret agreements to resolve her claims against her alleged abusers, including Epstein and his ex-girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell.
“Most people could only dream of obtaining the sums of money that Giuffre has secured for herself over the years.
“This presents a compelling motive for Giuffre to continue filing frivolous lawsuits against individuals such as Prince Andrew, whose sullied reputation is only the latest collateral damage of the Epstein scandal.”
Mr Brettler said Andrew “unequivocally” denied her “false allegations”.
He wrote: “Accusing a member of the world’s best known royal family of serious misconduct has helped Giuffre create a media frenzy online and in the traditional Press.
“It is unfortunate, but undeniable, that sensationalism and innuendo have prevailed over the truth.
“Giuffre has initiated this baseless lawsuit against Prince Andrew to achieve another payday at his expense and at the expense of those closest to him.
“Epstein’s abuse of Giuffre does not justify her public campaign against Prince Andrew.”
Mr Brettler said Ms Giuffre — who has fought legal cases against Epstein, Maxwell and lawyer Alan Dershowitz — had a pattern of lawsuits “against numerous high-profile individuals”.
He argued Ms Giuffre’s abuse claims had grown more “lurid” as the years have gone on.
He added: “She has sought to peddle increasingly salacious and inconsistent accounts of alleged sexual abuse by friends, business associates, and mere acquaintances of Epstein and Maxwell.”
Under the heading “Giuffre’s role in Epstein’s criminal enterprise”, he said she had been accused of recruiting young girls for Epstein in return for money.
She had been “slowly climbing the ladder” of his sex trafficking operation, he claimed.
He wrote she was bought “expensive diamond jewellery, furniture and designer clothing” and went on shopping sprees with Maxwell.
The lawyer also quoted her as saying she was being paid well by Epstein – who killed himself in jail in 2019 — because she would “give him sex whenever he wanted it”.
He referred to an article in the New York Daily News in which her ex-boyfriend Philip Guderyon described her as the “head b*tch” who had up to ten girls she would bring to Epstein.
The same article included the line that Ms Giuffre was not held as a slave, but was a “money- hungry sex kitten, who flashed her cash and enjoyed the finer things in life”.
The sister of another former boyfriend of Ms Giuffre’s was quoted in Andrew’s court papers as saying: “She would say to me, ‘Do you know any girls who are kind of slutty?’.”
Brettler said Ms Giuffre’s allegations against Prince Andrew had been “inconsistent” and her lawsuit was devoid of any details of specific sex offences.
The lawyer added that she “does not allege any facts demonstrating that she did not consent to any purported sexual contact with Prince Andrew”.
The Duke, pictured with his arm around Ms Giuffre in 2001, has said he has no recollection of ever meeting her.
Both sides will discuss the next steps in the case at a hearing in New York on Wednesday.
