Prince Charles will lose his patience if Harry keeps attacking the Queen

He has slammed his dad’s parenting – and by proxy, the Queen’s – and also said he felt trapped in the institution.

But Royal author Katie Nicholl has said despite the growing gulf, the Prince of Wales wants to fix thier relationship.

However, she told the German newspaper Bild: “If Harry continues to attack the Queen, his patience will run out.”

Harry’s appearance in an explosive documentary left the Queen “deeply upset” – although Charles has no intention of “cutting off his son”, despite his hurt, it’s been claimed.

Prince Harry accused his family of showing “total neglect” to his mental health woes and claimed that Prince Charles made him “suffer”.

Harry accused The Firm of smearing Meghan Markle, who wept into her pillow every night, and said his wife didn’t give into her suicidal thoughts because of how “unfair” it would have been to him.

But Charles came in for particular criticism from his youngest son – with Harry saying his father did little to help him through his struggles.

“My father used to say to me when I was younger, he used to say to both William and I, ‘Well, it was like that for me, so it’s going to be like that for you’,” he said.

‘AT A LOSS’

Sources close to Prince Charles, 72, said he is hurt over being made the villain.

A royal source said: “Father and son relations are at their lowest ever point.

“Harry says he wants reconciliation, but has clearly decided to villainise his father. Charles is just at a loss about what to do.

Harry doesn’t seem to take into account that parenting styles have radically changed over recent years, especially the role a father plays.

During the conversation with Oprah, the couple made a series of shocking allegations – most damagingly of all that an unnamed member of the Royal Family had made a racist comment about the colour of son Archie’s skin.

The Duchess also said she was prevented from seeking mental health support when she was in crisis.

Harry said his relationship with his brother was “space” and claimed his family were “trapped” by their royal duties.

And he said his father Charles stopped taking his calls after Megxit and he was financially cut off by the Royal Family last year.
