Prince William and Kate help raise £13million for charity polo match

Annual fundraiser

Prince William and wife Kate have been praised for their efforts in raising £13million for various charitable causes through an annual charity polo match.

Royal absence

Princess Kate, currently undergoing cancer treatment, will not be attending this year's event, while the Prince of Wales is set to participate without his wife.

Previous success

Last year, the Royal Charity Polo Cup, held at Guards Polo Club in Windsor, Berks, raised £1million for causes close to the royal couple's hearts. William was part of the winning team and Kate presented him with the trophy.

Impactful donations

Charities such as Wales Air Ambulance and Mountain Rescue England and Wales have benefited from the event, with donations going towards important services and causes.
