THE Queen’s grandson Peter Phillips has introduced his new girlfriend to his grandmother – despite the controversy over her being married.
He showed off partner Lindsay Wallace to the Queen after he held a shooting party at Windsor. We revealed how he drove to Scotland to see her during lockdown – meeting close to her marital home.

Royal insiders say introducing his new partner to the Queen is a major step and sign the couple are serious – although wedding bells may be some way off.
A source told The Celeb Report: “The Queen is one of the most important people in Peter’s life so it’s only right that he introduces Lindsay to her. It was a very warm meeting and the Queen was clearly delighted to meet someone who makes Peter so happy.
“Despite the fact that he divorced Autumn, they have two children together and relations are still incredibly warm between them. They are both moving on with their lives and accept that the other will find someone else romantically.
“It may still be early days but Peter wanted his grandmother to see he was happy. It is a clear sign that Lindsay has now been fimly welcomed into The Firm and a major first step if they were to ever choose to get married. The Queen just wants Peter to be happy.”
Peter and Autumn announced last February that they had split up the previous year. They amicably settled their divorce in June last year after 12 years together and have two children, Savannah, 11, and nine-year-old Isla.
Last March, The Celeb Report revealed how cops gave “advice” to the businessman after he drove 460 miles from his Gatcombe Park home in Gloucestershire. He went to Lindsay’s £475,000 home on the Scottish east coast at the peak of the government’s covid restrictions.
Lindsay was classmates with Zara, 39, at Gordonstoun, the £40,000-a-year school in Aberdeenshire where Peter was a couple of years above them.
A snap of guests leaving Zara’s 2011 wedding ceremony with rugby star Mike Tindall captured a laughing Lindsay in a cream top and pink hat.
Phillips and Lindsay are said to have grown close after a recent school reunion.
After leaving school Lindsay worked in a health food shop for a while. In recent years, she has been a stay-at-home mum.
Phillips, the son of Princess Anne’s ex-husband Captain Mark Phillips, is 17th in line to the throne. He is often described as the Queen’s “favourite grandson” by royal insiders.
Lindsay was also photographed in November being driven into Windsor to attend a double christening for Mike and Zara Tindall’s son Lucas, and Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s lad August.
Peter later held a shooting party at Windsor Great Park where Lindsay was formally introduced to Her Maj. The Queen remains on “light duties” at Windsor Castle after last year’s hospital scare. A spokesman for Peter Phillips said: “Peter attended a private event at Windsor.”
