Royal family ‘don’t trust’ Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and fear they’ll ‘use Christmas for documentary’, says expert

THE ROYAL family “don’t trust” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and are concerned about what a potential Christmas visit will entail, says one royal expert.

Angela Levin, author of Harry: Biography of a Prince, told The Royal Beat that their possible presence in the UK this Christmas would be very difficult for the other members of the family.

A royal expert has said the royal family “don’t trust” Meghan and Harry

She said some believe a Christmas visit would be used for another book or documentary

While this would be the first time they would meet Harry, and Meghan’s daughter Lilibet, Angela says the family may feel like they can’t be trusted to not to use the occasion in their next documentary or book.

“I think it would cause a lot of people a lot of grief,” Angela speculated.

“The Queen would be delighted because she adores Harry – and also you love a child even though you disagree with everything they are doing – but I think for the other Royals, it is quite a stiff time where everybody has a very explicit diary of changing five times a day and what they have to do at what time.

“I think it will be very, very difficult if they come over because the feeling is you can’t trust them, and they might use this for their next documentary or for his next book.”

She went on to say that Harry and Meghan are setting up as US-based rivals to the Royal Family.

“It is a woke alternative to the proper Royal Family in this country, and I think that is what they want really,” the expert said.

“They want people to ditch that one and go with them, because they are modern and they know what people want.”

Earlier this week Meghan gushed “it’s wonderful to be back” as she joined Prince Harry in their first public appearance since the birth of their daughter.

The Duke and Duchess arrived at the city’s observatory 14 minutes late for their meeting with Bill De Blasio as they embarked on their US “adventure”.

Harry and Meghan – who gave birth to daughter Lilibet in June – were driven to the event in a black SUV and travelled up to One World Trade Center’s viewing deck to meet the NYC Mayor.

And as she greeted the crowd of photographers, Meghan said: “It’s wonderful to be back thank you” when asked if she was happy to be in New York.

The couple’s dark and sombre outfits were likely chosen for their planned trip to the nearby 9/11 Memorial afterwards.

The pair also met with New York Governor Kathy Hochul, 63, who arrived minutes before them.

The couple later stopped to view a wreath at the 9/11 Museum at Ground Zero.

The couple are next expected to broadcast live from Central Park for a Global Citizen Live event to promote the Covid vaccine on Saturday.

It is part of a number of shows being held in cities as varied as London to Lagos by the organisation Global Citizen, with artists like Ed Sheeran, Sir Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Metallica and Coldplay scheduled to perform.

Meanwhile, Meghan and Harry ‘looking to bring Lilibet & Archie to UK for Christmas’ and could stay in Frogmore Cottage to heal rift.

Plus Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘MUST visit Queen with Lilibet’ as US travel ban is no longer an ‘excuse’.
