Prince William received this first Covid-19 vaccination jab this week and shared this photo on his Instagram page this morning

It is unclear if William got a dose of Pfizer or AstraZeneca.

The photo showed the left-handed dad-of-three with his right sleeve rolled up while he was attended to by two healthcare workers.

It was captioned: “On Tuesday I received my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. To all those working on the vaccine rollout – thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do.”

Many fans couldn’t resist pointing out the heir to the throne’s bulging bicep, with one saying: “Check out those guns!”

Prince William got the vaccine in line with the government’s rollout, with people over the age of 34 being invited to book their jabs from this morning.

NHS England has said over one million people aged 34 and 35 will get a text message today or Friday saying they can now book their dose.

It is expected that people in their early thirties will receive their texts in the coming “days or weeks”.

Other members of the royal family to receive their Covid-19 jabs are the Queen and the Prince of Wales.

It is not known whether the Duchess of Cambridge, 39, has had her vaccination.
